This beautifully landscaped 18 hole, par 71 course, totalling 6,820 yards is located in Virginia’s newest golf course community, Hills Quarter.

The course, which was crafted by McDonald & Sons Inc. of Jessup, MD, a firm nationally recognized for its work on some of the most prestigious courses in the country, is truly state-of-the-art. The 185-acre site has been transformed into greens with an “old-world” classic style that even includes a few vineyards. The first nine holes are primarily in the open, but occasionally meander in and out of wooded areas and around four ponds. The back nine are mainly tree-lined, but offer more dramatic changes in elevation. All the fairways are double loaded to create better views and more privacy for the homes that will line King Carter.



There will be five sets of tees, ranging from 6,820 yards on the championship tees down to 2,169 for the family tees, which are designed so that every hole can be played as a par three. An unusually large practice facility will also be available for golfers to improve their game.
